Dr. Sal Yannizzi, Pastor
Dr. Yannizzi has been married to his wife Donna since 1980. They have four children and one grandchild.
Dr. Yannizzi has been the pastor of Southside Baptist Church since 1988. He enjoys preaching and teaching the truths of God’s Word. Dr. Yannizzi is a conference speaker and also the President of Northeast Baptist Bible College.
Mike Melone, Associate Pastor
Dr. Melone was saved at Southside Baptist Church in 1988, and later called to preach. He and his wife Jennifer met at Southside and married in 1993. They have three children.
As Associate Pastor of Southside Baptist Church, Dr. Melone’s responsibilities include: Bus Director, Vice President of the Northeast Baptist Bible College, teaching in our Christian school, and various other tasks that may arise.
Jason Poppa, Youth Pastor
Brother Poppa is a product of Southside Baptist Church. He attended our Christian School, went to Bible college, and returned to Southside to work under the leadership of Dr. Yannizzi.
Brother Poppa is now in full time service as our Youth Pastor along with his wife Nicole and one child. Brother Poppa formed a youth group called The Champions Club. They meet weekly for fellowship, soul winning, preaching and various youth activities.
Kevin Cavanaugh, Assistant to Pastor
Brother Cavanaugh is an Assistant to the Pastor. He is our computer expert, sound man and does numerous other responsibilities around the church, including teaching in our Christian school.
Cliff Zimmerman, School Administrator
Brother Zimmerman is the principal of the Valley Christian School. He and his wife Joy have been faithfully serving in our school since 2005. Brother Zimmerman is also our Sunday School Superintendent.
Mike Owens, Administrative Assistant
Brother Owens was called to preach at Southside Baptist Church in 2001. He and his wife Amber lead our 1st through 6th grade children church program, teach in our Christian school, and assist Brother Zimmerman in various Christian school responsibilities.
